Everybody is working for the weekend

As we are not updating the blog very frequently
we hope that you all recieved a chrismas card from us.
We did send one to every friend and family member
but we have started to get some of them returned in the past few days
due to improper addresses and the like. sorry...we did give it the old college try.
and we greatly appreciated all of the cards and packages that we recieved
we all know it is always an amazing feeling to get anything personally addressed
amongst all of the junk mail clutter and bills.

But many of you must be wondering
What the heck do we do these days which keeps us so busy
Here's a short list of some everyday events...
Every morning we commute approximately 45 minutes to our jobs via the tube

John works as a database administrator in the city of london
and is currently contracted out to a large investment bank.
He has found a panini shop to frequent where the owner gives him free pastries. mmm...
In his time off he discovered the amazing london walking tours
and is currently perfecting and adapting his own london walks
(note: please book his tours far in advance, as they are increasingly popular due to recent positive reviews)

Cassie works as a senior graphic designer in west london
for a creative retail packaging design and consulting company.(whew)
She hates that instant coffee is the norm in London
and she would do anything to have a stone creek or
an alterra coffee shop on her way in to the office in the morning.
she spends most of her time straing very closely at the pixels of her computer screen

Recently we had three waves of amazing visitors:
meegan and suzanne made a whirlwind weekender in October(and the squirrels in the cemetery havent been the same since)kevin was up for some football in November (and the kebabs are calling him back mid march)
and trisha and nicole rang in the new year with us (and we opened our local pub (11am) for the first time)

It was so much fun dragging those girls around london
and for new years we added elizabeth and william to the group
for a great chinese food feast
followed by many champagne toasts (with the fabulous frances and ronnie)
and a very hot (temperature hot) club nite out in chelsea

after new years a bit of the flu attacked us
so... we have been resting our heads on our fancy new sheets, pillows and duvets that we got for christmas.

Upcoming events that we are looking forward to:
stephanie vistis london on official emc business and we get to tour her around.
kevin returns and brings sakura to london (yay! we cant wait to meet her)
summer is only a few months away (isnt it?)

Our favorite things:

- learning how to text
- macaroni and cheese
- duck
- london weather (it may be rainy but it just doesnt get very cold...except when trisha and nicole were here)
